Caye Caulker is truly a gem, and staying at La Isla Resort made our experience even more special! The location is unbeatable; it's right by the beach with breathtaking sea views. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, treating us like family. We had a great time by the pool and enjoyed free access to kayaks for exploring the island. One downside was that the dining options are still expanding, but I’m excited for the rooftop restaurant soon to open. Overall, excellent value for money, and I can't wait to return!
My stay at La Isla was fantastic! The central location made it easy to explore the best spots on Caye Caulker. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The pool area was lovely, but I found the dining experience to be a bit lacking. Overall, it's a great place for the price, but a few improvements could make it even better.
The hotel is a charming spot with a private beach and a sweet little pool. I loved the fast check-in process and all the included amenities, like paddle boards and beach chairs. However, the room could use a bit of updating, and there were moments when hot water was scarce. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would happily return despite a few minor hiccups.
La Isla is an excellent choice for a group getaway, boasting spacious and modern rooms with very friendly service. The rooftop bar and beautiful beach access were highlights of our stay. However, the inconsistent water situation during our visit was a bit of a downer, and the cleanliness of the rooms could have been improved.
I had a mixed experience during my stay. The location was excellent, right by the beach, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. However, the constant water issues were really frustrating, and the strict policies about towels felt a bit excessive. Overall, it had its ups and downs, but I'd consider returning for its beach access and friendly atmosphere.
